Fusing Fine Silver
OPEN TO EVERYONE – beginning & repeat silver wire fusers!
Make a handful (between 5 - 8!) of rings for your fingers, bails, links, charms – it's endless! Here at The Bead Gallery, we use them everyday, and wear them all the time – and want YOU to experience how fun it is when you have a large selection of rings to work with, and get to embellish them with textures and "prints".
Jason is teaching with 14, 12 and 10 gauge wire (fyi: wire newbies, these are thick and very sturdy wires that you may have seen used in boutique high–end jewelry, and you will LOVE it!)
In addition to fusing, we will cover different textures and finishes with our 30+ specialty hammers, using Lanette's rockin' links template, and antiquing or matte-finishing! Super exciting!
Fusing silver wire is a simple technique done with very little tools, and requires hardly any skills. (just need to pay attention!) We provide the hotworking tools, specialty hammers & mandrels, just come with the "FIRE"!
