We’re Jamie and Jason, the best-friend duo behind The Bead Gallery, Honolulu. Since 1997, we’ve built a little creative haven where people can slow down, make something with their hands, and reconnect with themselves. Our shop grew from Jamie’s lifelong love of culture, craft, and understanding where things come from, combined with a childhood spent watching her mom make absolutely everything with her hands. Today, that same curiosity guides our approach — from sourcing honest, well-made gemstones and beads from around the world to teaching practical techniques that lift you up rather than overwhelm you.

What began as one table in a tiny Honolulu storefront has grown into a global ʻohana. Jason keeps everything running with his calm, practical “we can fix this” know-how, while Jamie brings the sparks, ideas, and design energy that fuel the fire. Together, we’ve spent nearly three decades helping makers of all ages find their creative confidence.
