Cherry Blossom Live: Five Petals

Friday, March 6 · 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm

Before cherry blossoms had a name, there was a goddess, a warrior, and a stone. This spring, we've built a Cherry Blossom collection that tells a story over a thousand years old — from the Shinto goddess Konohanasakuya-hime to the samurai who wore sakura on their armor, from the raden shell artists of the Nara period to the etched gemstone beads on your workbench today. The collection is live now with nearly 80 pieces of cherry blossom agate, etched sakura quartz, carved shell blossoms, and sterling silver charms. Browse it, fall in love, start imagining what you'll make. But we've been holding something back. On Friday, March 6th, we're revealing five hand-picked pieces that have never been on the online store. Five ways the cherry blossom shows up: in stone, in shell, etched by hand, cast in metal, and held close to the heart. Each one threads into the story. Together, they complete it. Join us live to meet them for the first time — and to hear the stories behind why these five were chosen. The Japanese call it mono no aware: the beauty that breaks your heart because it cannot stay. These petals won't wait.
