This chain is a very tiny "paperclip" shape with elongated rectangles that are bright and shiny. The plating is secure for the price, and we tested this line of chains. In some cases, the plating wore thin to expose the brass underlayer, making the chain look "antiqued" and naturally worn. In other cases, the chain looked as good as new.
