A Planetary Party in Beads

A Planetary Party in Beads

The Planetary Party is one of our most requested kits, and once you see it, you'll understand why. We hand-selected a natural gemstone bead to represent each planet in the solar system, plus the sun, the moon, and Pluto — because we grew up with him and we're not letting go.

The Idea

Each bead was chosen for its color, energy, and connection to the celestial body it represents. The warm glow of the sun stone, the milky shimmer of moonstone, the deep red of Mars, the ocean blue of Neptune — when you line them up together, you're holding the whole solar system on your wrist. Every bead tells you something about the planet it stands for, and part of the fun is learning the connections as you string them.

We included Pluto because we grew up with nine planets and that's a hill we'll stand on. Besides, the bead we picked for him is too perfect to leave out.

Two Ways to Make It

The Gemstone Mix

The Planetary Party Gemstone Mix gives you the core — all the planet beads, the sun, the moon, and Pluto. From there, it's yours to design. Add your own gemstone beads to fill out a stretchy cord bracelet, or wire wrap each planet bead into something completely unique. Earrings, a pendant, a charm collection — the kit is just the starting point.

The Lava Bracelet Kit

If you want everything in one box, the Planetary Party Lava Bracelet Kit includes the gemstone mix, an 8mm lava bead strand, and enough stretchy cord to make a complete bracelet. The black lava beads between each planet give the piece a dark, spacey backdrop — like the planets floating in the night sky. And if you're into essential oils, lava beads absorb them beautifully.

Why People Love This Kit

It's a conversation piece. Every time someone sees it on your wrist, they ask about it, and then you get to point to each bead and say that's Jupiter, that's Saturn, that little one is Pluto. It's jewelry that teaches something. Kids love helping pick them out, couples make matching sets, and we've had teachers order them for classroom projects.

We put together a downloadable PDF guide that shows every gemstone and the planet it represents, so you can follow along as you string.

This kit is available in the store and online. If you want to see the stones up close before you commit, come in — we'll walk you through the whole solar system, one bead at a time.
