Over 20 years ago, this was the very first custom gemstone we ever had made for The Bead Gallery. Each milky, pale pink rose quartz bead is engraved with the Japanese kanji character 愛 — "Ai" — which means love. The etching is subtle, almost like a secret message to yourself or someone you love. We've been carrying them ever since, and they still stop people in their tracks.
