This is a very nice alternative to using gold filled beads - the color is pretty, and the durability is average. While you can't wear it in direct contact with your skin for weeks on end (I wore it for a month straight and wore off all the gold), we presume it will last if it's between beads as spacers and not exposed to weather or water!
