These Moldavite beads are the REAL DEAL! We are fascinated by things from "outer space" — and I put that in air quotes, because WE are also in outer space, LOL! Whenever we find this bottle green gem, Jason and I get excited about getting some for the store.

Between 15 and 20 million years ago, a massive meteorite shower struck what is now the Czech Republic, and these stones formed from the fiery impact. Moldavite is a specific kind of tektite — natural glass created by that heat and force — identifiable by its olive-to-bottle-green color with unusual swirls, folds, and bubbles that look like growing moss.
