Rudraksha beads are the seeds of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree, revered for thousands of years in Hindu and Buddhist traditions as sacred to Lord Shiva. They've been worn and prayed with since long before any of us got here — and every time I hold a strand, I feel a little of that quiet weight. This is a 108 piece mala, so you can wear it immediately, like Pauline and I are!

This strand is a little different from the rougher brown seed rudraksha we usually carry. These have been tumbled to a smooth, soft finish and naturally dyed to a deep walnut brown — a more polished, wearable look. I scratch-tested my strand on a piece of white cloth to see if the color would transfer, and happily it did not. Safe to wear against white shirts and light skin.

Each seed is believed to calm the mind, lower stress, and offer gentle protection. Use the full strand as a mala — 108 beads plus a 10mm focal guru bead make this a ready-made meditation tool — or break it down into bracelets, necklaces, and wrapped pieces with a grounded, ceremonial feel.
