On a trip to Japan, I met multiple pearl vendors and walked in circles until I met one, Mr. Baba. He had rows of beautiful pearls from Mie Prefecture and took the time to help me find the best quality pearls in my budget, even though I didn’t have enough cash to make a large purchase. After our conversation, I was so happy with his patience and kindness while I chose so few strands that I went and found an ATM machine that evening and went back to buy 3x more the next day!
