Lucky October babies have the MOST colorful two birthstones: TOURMALINE AND OPAL!
Tourmaline is the most colorful of all gemstones. It occurs in all colors, but pink, red, green, blue and multicolored are its most well-known gem colors. Opal is a most mesmerizing stone and also comes in different colors, from white to black with flashes of blue, yellow, green, orange and red. We have both tourmalines in multi colors, and opals in the store, and we love them both! Jason, JoAnn and I even had the chance to mine tourmalines in San Diego at the Ocean View Mine, and got a lot of raw tourmalines as well as a chunk of aquamarine and lots of lepidolite and mica :) Watch our Gemstone Mining in San Diego with The Bead Gallery, Honolulu video here!

It stimulates feelings of joy, happiness, and relaxation just like my teddy bear :) attracts love, confirms that it’s safe to love, inspires trust in love, and allows us to understand that we must first love ourselves, then love others, and others will love us.
green:yang to the pink yin energy. awesome for self-healing, channels nature’s healing power, has a relationship with plants and animals. can enhance vitality and stamina in physical activities, and helps spiritual people enjoy life in the physical world.
black: cleans the air around you of negative vibes, and turns it into usable energy. does not absorb it, it will transmute/convert it into positive energy! counters excessive stress in the home or work place - very protective in those challenging circumstances. keeping it by the bed can help sleep better.
