This year, Día de los Muertos holds special meaning for me. We recently lost a beloved artistic soul from our TBG ohana, and I’m celebrating this tradition for the first time in their honor. This mix of beads, with vintage glass flowers and a Czech skull bead, represents life, memory, and the beauty of honoring those who’ve passed. 🌼

For those who don’t know, the Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) is a celebration of life and memory. It’s not about mourning but honoring those who have passed. The colorful flowers in these earrings symbolize the marigolds that guide spirits back to the world of the living. Yellow and orange stand for warmth and light, while red represents the love and devotion that remain strong even after someone is gone. The skull, a joyful symbol, reminds us to embrace life fully while honoring the memories of those we’ve lost.
