The Sand Cat, also known as the sand dune cat, is a small wild cat that lives in the deserts of northern Africa and southwestern Asia. They are well adapted to life in the desert, with thick fur on the soles of their feet to protect them from hot sand, and long, dense fur on their bodies to keep them warm at night. These cats are solitary and elusive, and not much is known about their behavior in the wild. They are nocturnal and primarily hunt small rodents and other desert animals for food.
