Astrology Zodiac Beads for Aries: March 21 to April 19

We've had a lot of blue lately, so here comes Aries blazing in with all its fiery glory!!! Aries is actually the first of the Zodiac signs. They are leaders, trailblazers and competitors - think Leonardo da Vinci, Lady Gaga, Elton John and Robert Downey, Jr just to name a few!

The name Aries comes from "Ares" the Greek god of War. Their ruling planet is also a god of war - Mars - and they are represented by a Ram. With all that energy, and being a Fire sign on top of that - Aries are known to be competitive, dynamic trailblazers.  At their best, they are courageous, determined, confident, passionate and honest. Because they are so energetic (and probably also due to their War gods), they can become impatient, short-tempered and impulsive and they don't like inactivity or delays.

Aries are the life of the party - they play hard and work hard. This Diana Ross quote is a great one that represents Aries: "You can’t just sit there and wait for people to give you that golden dream. You’ve got to get out there and make it happen for yourself."

Our Rise bracelet is great to connect with the fire energy of Aries while giving them energy to achieve their goals!

Here's my off the cuff, free-form jewelry design thoughts for a Aries:

  • Aries color is red. An Aries can connect to the fiery spirit of their sign with Carnelian, especially if they are feeling low energy and need a pick-me-up! (see the eye-pin bracelet above)
  • Tame the fire with some Aquamarine (also a March birthstone!)
  • Add in some Clear Quartz or Diamond (April birthstone!) with the Aquamarine to enhance the calming effect.

Year of the Ox mix is a great one to "tame the fire" and bring some calm!

Lucky Stones: Red Jasper, Bloodstone, Yellow, Red or Orange Topaz

Lucky Color: Red, Coral, Bright Pink and White

Element: Fire

Birthstones: The March Birthstone is Aquamarine, April is Diamond.

Other Suggested Gemstones:  Amethyst, Ruby in Zoisite, Red or Green Aventurine, Black Tourmaline and Sardonyx.

NOTE about Zodiac Recommendations:

Reading about our astrological signs - a way of recognizing the grouping of stars that were in the sky at the time we were born, is fun and insightful! It's an entertaining and meaningful generalization that can give us a glimpse of a person's BASIC characteristics, preferences, flaws and fears.  At different times and situations in my life, I can associate myself with qualities emphasized in EACH of the signs, and it's a very cool way of bringing about an awareness and making me THINK and pay attention to myself and my life and the people around me!   The very same way that I use beads to express myself and give me time to reflect and appreciate and heal.
