We've been selling this product for 27 years and it's been Mom-tested since we've carried it by her request! My mom wanted the ultimate vision assistant, that was lightweight and wouldn't make her head sweat!
With these two important requirements in mind, we tested 4 different optical aids before settling on these as the MOST comfortable, price-happy and best magnification. And they last over 14 years, as proven by my mom. We finally gave her a new one a few years back! :)
Lightweight Mageyes magnify at 1.6 or 2.0 AND because of it's vertical movement, it allows you to watch tv while beading!

* And a special tip: Sometimes the MagEyes will lose a bit of the "memory" or tension on the headband. Sometimes this is due to very long periods of use or maybe the MagEyes travels with you in your car. Either case, simply remove the lens, gently squeeze the headband together till the two open ends overlap about an inch, wrap with a rubber band, place in the freezer for about an hour, remove and let adjust to room temperature, remove the rubber band when the unit reaches room temperature, replace the lens and continue in your hobby, craft, work, or reading!
